How to Raise a Millionaire is the ultimate parent’s guide to increase confidence and foster bully-proof self esteem in any kid. How to Raise a Millionaire provides a unique action plan to help any kid start their own business in 5 days and in the process teach them the secret, the six millionaire skills every successful person knows: Dream It, Believe It, Love It, Work It, Own It, and Give It.  It also includes simple everyday tips to help parents raise a capable kid.

Through the teaching tools of entrepreneurship your kid will learn to be more responsible, follow directions better and you’ll see them grow in ways you never expected. They will learn to dream outside the box, believe they can do anything they put their minds to, have passion for their goals, work hard to achieve what they want, take responsibility for their actions and the consequences and have compassion for others.

In How to Raise a Millionaire Ann tells us the story of how she did it and the results she saw in her son Jack.

There are plenty of great books out there about kids and business. How to Raise a Millionaire goes beyond the why and shows you how. It is practical, easy and fun. You’ll be amazed at how something as simple as helping your child start their own business can permanently open up possibilities they never knew existed.

How to Raise a Millionaire teaches you how to become your kid's Trusted Advisor. It can transform your relationship. It will be the best 1 hour a week you will ever spend!

“I grew up on, 'You have to work hard for money’. Ann’s book teaches anyone, entrepreneur or not, how to help their kid start a business. This is something every kid should know. It should be taught in our schools, but it isn’t. This kind of real world advise will help you set your kid up to succeed in life no matter what the economy looks like. Ann’s simple approach is brilliant. Finally, we can start changing our kid’s conversation with money and success,”

-- Loral Langemeier, Author of The Millionaire Maker, Wealth Specialist and Dynamic Speaker

Things Kids Will Learn:

From the Author:
This book is simple really. It is the story of how one mom (me) fixed her bullied boy! After Jack's experience with bullies in the 3rd grade left him with virtually no self-esteem I did what any mother would do, I set about to fix the problem.

What I found was really a happy accident--one that every parents should do on purpose--help their kid start a business.

When you invest your time and effort into helping your child start their own business, you will be as amazed as I was at all the things your kids will learn. It is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.

I don't want to hear you say you can't or you are too busy. Frankly it won't fly with me!

Did you know according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the average parent spends 47 mins a day with their kids?  What does that mean?

It means we are all so busy with our lives, with school, homework, after school stuff that we actually don't spend that much quality time with our kids. But what does it really mean?

It means we are abdicating the teaching of life skills to the coach, the music teacher, the tutor, the babysitter, you name it.  I am right there with you, the difference is, I did something that has changed my relationship with my son forever. I helped him start and run his own business. What has happened to him is profound and what has happened to the way we react with each other is more profound.

Our relationship, which was already very strong, has grown even stronger. We have enjoyed doing something productive together rather than something we have to do, like homework. I get just as excited as he does when he gets a new customer. We work together on his business. I am out there with him, helping drag cans in or out or using the weed whacker and it is a positive experience for both of us.

When you start this venture with your kid, I am confident you will find a completely new set of benefits I have not even mentioned.

Mother Teresa said, "I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." If that is the case, then we--parents--are a pen in the hand of our children as they compose the wishes and dreams of their lives. What we do and say is written in ink. How and what we teach our kids is hard to erase. It takes a lot to overcome the impressions we parents leave on the souls of our children. I--for one--want the impressions I leave on Jack's soul to be the most positive and inspirational messages possible.

I want Jack to "Dream It", "Believe It", "Love It", "Work It", "Own It", and "Give It" with all the positive and uplifting energy he can muster!
About the Author:
Ann Morgan James is a two time award winning marketer (Marketer of the Year and STAR Marketer of the Year), an author, speaker and Jack’s mom. In the third grade, Ann’s son Jack was dealt a devastating blow. He was bullied in school to the point of physical violence. His self-esteem was virtually non-existent. Ann knew she had to do something to help him.
As a marketing professional for more than 25 years Ann turned her talents for selling other people’s products to her son. She began selling her son bully proof self-esteem. She decided to help him start a business and through those efforts she rebuilt his confidence and self-worth.
Ann was amazed with the results. She realized she was teaching Jack the same millionaire mindsets her parents had taught her – Outlook, Attitude, Skills and Action. To help Jack, she defined six millionaire skills she needed to teach him: “Dream It”, “Believe It”, “Love It”, “Work It”, “Own It” and “Give It”. These six skills are now a philosophy she and Jack have adopted in life!
Ann has spent years volunteering and working with parents and kids. After her amazing experience with Jack she decided to share her millionaire skills with other parents and wrote her book, How to Raise a Millionaire.
She is also one of the featured entrepreneurs in Entrepreneur Success Stories: how common people achieve uncommon results, volume two edited by Loral Langemeier and John C. Robinson.
Aside from the credentials and awards Ann has earned, she is first and foremost, Jack’s Mom. Other parents will surely identify with her. With her challenges in her life; challenges she has faced down head-on and overcome, Ann has a story of hope and inspiration to tell.
Ann has one passion which drives her to overcome any bump in the road life throws her way; she is determined to teach her son Jack how to live the life of his dreams.
Ann is a native California girl who lives in San Jose with her son Jack, their three dogs, one parrot and every single Star Wars: The Clone Wars action figure known to man!
